Eric L Harrison is a respected business professional that has worked to design, develop, and implement projects that make a difference in people’s lives. Eric was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 9, 1967. As a young man, Eric was exposed to entrepreneurship by his father, Richard, in a family owned upholstery shop. His father’s business lessons fed his desire to bring to pass innovative business ideas and sparked his interests in computers.
After graduating from Linbloom High School in 1985, Eric attended Trenton Junior College in Trenton, Missouri. From there Eric attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated in 1992 with a BS degree in Finance. Eric has participated in Information Technology projects that span several major industries. He has had the opportunity to work for several Fortune 500 companies such as United States Cellular, Hewitt Associates, United Airlines, GE, WW Grainger, Northern Trust Bank, Baxter Pharmecuticals, Harris Bank, American Medical Association, and JP Morgan Chase. During his career, Eric gained experience in graphic design, web design, application development, project management, consulting, and quality assurance. In 1996, Eric founded Harrison Consulting, which has now evolved to Eric Harrison Interactive Designs. Eric ’s company offers business solutions to organizations that have a desire to use the Internet to serve their customers more effectively and more efficiently.
While reaching several of his personal achievements, Eric made it a point to be involved with organizations that helped the less fortunate. From his involvement in various fundraising events, Eric donates his time and money towards helping people who are in need. Eric served as a member of God First Ministries, a national non-profit organization that feeds and clothes families as well as provides scholarships to students on a regular basis. Currently Eric serves as the Vice President of Brother 2 Brother (a non-profit charitable Organization) and looks forward to creating new ways to provide assistance to people who are in need.
